Seven things we learned today | Thursday 13 November

Lipstick Jungle axed!

1. Living’s Lipstick Jungle and new Christian Slater spy drama My Own Worst Enemy have both been axed.

2. And it seems producers may be planning to wind up Prison Break in the not-too-distant future too.

3. A couple of series return dates for you: Damages is back on US screens on Wednesday, 7 January, while Nip/Tuck returns on Tuesday, 6 January. BBC and FX had better not keep us waiting…

4. A face familiar to Mad Men fans is set to pop up on Supernatural.

5. Sneaky Office temp-turned-boss-turned-secretary Ryan will be taking a leave of absence from the series while actor BJ Novak appears in Quentin Tarantino’s new film.

6. Our favourite new sci-fi series Sanctuary is one of this season’s winners and, hence, has been renewed.

7. Anthony Edwards returns to ER this week, despite his character Mark Greene being rather dead. This is how they’re going to play it.
