Fans of the dearly departed West Wing get a chance to see one of its stars in action tonight as Richard Schiff (who also features in Burn Notice) makes an appearance in tonight’s episode of the Terminator spin-off. Schiff, who played Toby Ziegler, is Charles Fischer - who may or may not be a human traitor for Skynet. That’s not behaviour befitting a former White House employee, quite frankly. Also tonight, strange dreams prompt Sarah to visit Dr Sherman, while John and Cameron interrogate Ellison.

Another day, another lady - so thinks Dr McSteamy, or Mark Sloan to his mum. The good doctor’s romantic antics have inspired the Chief’s estranged wife Adele to instigate a ‘date and tell’ policy - but will she be able to catch him out? He’s too busy romancing Callie to care, anyway. Elsewhere, Cristina is irate when she discovers that Burke has won a top medical award. Not a good day for the ultra-competitive Cristina…

A two-parter kicks off this evening with a big case for Brenda and the team. They’ve been called in to investigate when a high-profile divorce lawyer is found dead in his swimming pool - but their efforts may be hampered by the accompanying press frenzy. Elsewhere, Brenda’s personal life is getting complicated. Thinking about taking the next step with Fritz, Brenda has second thoughts when she discovers a secret about him.
