The murder of an obstetrician leaves Logan and new partner Falacci sorting out complex family dynamics, a doctor with a God complex, and DNA so well spread around that finding the real killer will be a miracle of genetics.

Magnus’ secret house of monsters is in danger of being discovered tonight after a vicious abnormal attacks a TV news crew at a shipping warehouse. Magnus and Will arrive to save them - but the good Samaritans’ actions backfire when the reporters follow them to the Sanctuary on a mission to get footage of the creature…
Rekha Sharma, who plays Amy, one of the reporters, will be familiar to Battlestar Galactica viewers as Tory Foster.

9pm, Eli Stone, Sci-Fi
It’s life or death in the final episode of this series. Eli has to undergo surgery for an aneurysm, but the operation does not go as planned and Nathan is presented with a difficult decision. While his loved ones fret in the real world, Eli is having a vision that features a fellow patient (Richard Schiff, who’s somewhat ubiquitous this week with appearances in Burn Notice and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) - and, naturally, one George Michael. With the second series hitting our screens in January, the signs are there that Eli will pull through… but will he be a changed man when he wakes up?

10pm, Lipstick Jungle, Living
In tonight’s episode, splendidly titled ‘The Lyin’, the Bitch and the Wardrobe’, Victory is forced to count on her friends as she tries to organise her store opening without Dahlia’s help. Joe, meanwhile, is forced to consider where his relationship with Victory is going and comes to a decision. Wendy’s having a bad week, as she heads back to Parador Pictures to pitch a new movie and ends up in a bad mood courtesy of the new VP - and Nico bonds with Megan’s new baby. Is someone getting broody?

Fans of the dearly departed West Wing get a chance to see one of its stars in action tonight as Richard Schiff (who also features in Burn Notice) makes an appearance in tonight’s episode of the Terminator spin-off. Schiff, who played Toby Ziegler, is Charles Fischer - who may or may not be a human traitor for Skynet. That’s not behaviour befitting a former White House employee, quite frankly. Also tonight, strange dreams prompt Sarah to visit Dr Sherman, while John and Cameron interrogate Ellison.

10pm, Grey’s Anatomy, Living
Another day, another lady - so thinks Dr McSteamy, or Mark Sloan to his mum. The good doctor’s romantic antics have inspired the Chief’s estranged wife Adele to instigate a ‘date and tell’ policy - but will she be able to catch him out? He’s too busy romancing Callie to care, anyway. Elsewhere, Cristina is irate when she discovers that Burke has won a top medical award. Not a good day for the ultra-competitive Cristina…

11pm, The Closer, More4
A two-parter kicks off this evening with a big case for Brenda and the team. They’ve been called in to investigate when a high-profile divorce lawyer is found dead in his swimming pool - but their efforts may be hampered by the accompanying press frenzy. Elsewhere, Brenda’s personal life is getting complicated. Thinking about taking the next step with Fritz, Brenda has second thoughts when she discovers a secret about him.

It’s all go in this week’s episode of the Terminator spin-off, with everyone being imprisoned one way or another. Sarah is abducted by Cromartie (played by Garret Dillahunt, who was in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and popped up in season one of Damages), while John and Riley get themselves locked up in a Mexican cell. And as if that wasn’t enough, a gunfight ends in the death of one of the main characters…

Addison fans are in for a treat tonight as McDreamy’s ex returns for one episode only. Back at Seattle Grace to lend her specialist surgical skills to a complicated case, Addison also takes the opportunity to hand out some romance advice to a couple of ex-colleagues. Shocked to discover Meredith and Derek have split up, Addison also clocks the spark between Callie and Erica… Elsewhere, Rebecca arrives with some unexpected news for Alex, and Izzie helps a pregnant woman deal with a difficult decision.

Brenda and the FBI lock horns tonight, both claiming jurisdiction over a case involving the death of a Department of Homeland Security accountant. The victim was about to perform an audit on the LAPD but has ended up dead in a wrecked car at the bottom of a cliff - could her job have put her there, or did someone want to keep her quiet for another reason?
