Word’s just reached us that Bravo have picked up the rather good US action series White Collar.
The everyday story of a cunning criminal who negotiates an early release from chokey by agreeing to help the FBI catch over criminals, White Collar is the latest all-action, chest-beating, testosterone-pumping thriller shows that we just can’t get enough of. See Human Target or Burn Notice for a taste of what to expect.
Gutted that season three of 30 Rock came to an all-star, all-singing conclusion last night? Well, don’t be too sad as we’ve had word from the lovely people at Comedy Central and they’re not going to keep you hanging on very long for season four.
In fact, we’re hearing Liz and Jack could be back as early as April. Hurrah for Comedy Central - aren’t you glad they stole it from the rather unappreciative Five now?
We told you not so long ago about Episodes, Matt LeBlanc’s new sitcom focusing on a British couple trying to remake their hit sitcom in the USA (and soon coming a cropper).
Well, here’s a little teaser of what to expect as Matt goes to audition for the role of Matt LeBlanc in the series. It sounds complicated, and it is, but hopefully this clip goes some way to explain things…
Coming to US telly screens in the New Year (no UK buyer yet, but it can only be a matter of time), this epic new historical drama mixes the sex and intrigue of the sadly axed series with the brutal body-chopping of the movie Gladiator.
As you’d expect, it tells the story of Spartacus, the betrayed Roman hero who was forced into slavery and the gladiatorial arena before leading a bloody uprising. So expect ultra violence and all sorts of sordid bed-hopping.
Starring British actor John Hannah, fantasy icon Lucy Lawless and a load of Aussies and Kiwis – and from the brains of Angel’s Steven S DeKnight and Spider-Man director Sam Raimi – the series has already been commissioned for a second run without the first episode even having been screened.
FlashForward’s off air now until March, but this nifty little video offers a pretty decent recap of what happened in the first 10 episodes. Warning: contains some pretty massive spoilers if you haven’t seen the series yet!
And it seems there are a few shocks to come in the second half of the first series too…
