Breaking Glee news – and six other things we learned today | Monday 11 January

Glee wins seconds series

1. GleeA second series has been commissioned. Woo-hoo!

2. FlashForward - We’ll be getting some answers when the show returns from its mid-season break. Though that’ll be a couple of weeks later than expected…

3. Law & OrderPossible spin-off Law & Order: Los Angeles appears to be on the cards.

4. Lost - We won’t have to wait an extra week to see season six after all. Phew.

5. Day One - The promising Survivors-esque series has been cut back to just a feature-length drama.

6. The Big Bang Theory – Comic book legend Stan Lee is set to guest star.

7. HeroesChances of a fifth series aren’t as slim as you might have thought.

3. David Beckham isn’t a big enough name to appear in The Simpsons.

4. Dawson off Dawson’s Creek, James Van Der Beek, is joining nursing drama Mercy.

5. Heroes was the most pirated progamme of the past year.

4. David Tennant’s heading to the States to star as a panic-stricken lawyer.

5. Hollywood icon Robert Wagner is to appear on NCIS.

6. Ugly Betty is getting a new landlord – Fisher Stevens off Lost and loads of other films/shows.

Which Hero guy will die?

1. One of the original Heroes guys is set to die - though we’ve heard that one before, haven’t we?

2. True Blood’s real-life lovers Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are to star in a film together, along with Battlestar’s Tricia Helfer.

3. Dollhouse boss Adelle deWitt is not impressed with the show’s poor ‘client retention’!

4. The Supernatural lads are set to stray into a few other TV shows…

5. Law & Order’s Benjamin Bratt is to appear in ace new sitcom Modern Family.

6. A movie of X-Files companion show Millennium could be in the works.

Three things we learned today | Thursday 8th October

Robert Englund in Fear Clinic

1. Halloween is shaping up to be a good ‘un, not least because Nightmare on Elm Street star Robert Englund will be appearing in an online-only 5-part horror series called Fear Clinic, along with fellow scaremongers Danielle Harris and Kane Hodder.

2. Sean Maguire will be touting for business again, as his fantasy comedy show Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire isn’t getting another series.

3. We thought actor Greg Grunberg had taken his superhero role a bit too seriously and got a bionic eye fitted - but it seems he just used a really small video camera to capture this odd point of view footage from a scene in the new series of Heroes

We knew Heroes’ Sylar was mean… but not this mean!

Ah, Sylar, sort of dead in Heroes - thankfully actor Zachary Quinto is very much alive in real-life, and getting up to all sorts of new badness courtesy of Will Ferrell’s generally highly entertaining Funny or Die website.
