Six things we learned today | Tuesday 9 March

Rousseau returns to Lost

1. Fringe, 30 Rock, The Office and Community will all be back for new series in the Fall. Hurrah!

2. Bravo have picked up the rights to show Spartacus: Blood and Sand in the UK.

3. Frenchwoman Danielle Rousseau looks set to return to Lost in the final few episodes.

4. Heroes’ Sendhil Ramamurthy has been cast in Covert Affairs, a rather promising-sounding new spy thriller series.

5. The role of Eric’s dad in True Blood has been cast - though, sadly it’s not Alexander Skarsgard’s real-life dad Stellan as rumoured.

6. Buffy’s James Marsters has been discussing his forthcoming role in Caprica.

Henry’s surprise birthday turns sour when his CSI colleague take him to a remote BBQ joint, only to find it closed down by the health department. Meanwhile, it looks like Dr Jeckyl has struck again.

When Damon tries to get his necklace back from Bonnie, he’s shocked by the extent of her powers; and Stefan attempts to keep Vicki’s bloodlust in check.

9pm, 90210, E4 & HD
Adrianna visits Navid in hospital, but he has no recollection of who pushed him down the stairs; Silver and Teddy grow closer; and Liam, Dixon and Ivy have a plan to show Naomi the truth about her sister.

9pm, Caprica, Sky1 & HD
Daniel is torn when industrialist Tomas Vergis (Brothers & Sisters actor John Pyper-Ferguson) presents him with an ultimatum that could destroy Graystone Industries.

10pm, Fringe, Sky1 & HD
The team travels to Edina in upstate New York to investigate the murders of three state troopers, discovering that many of the residents are deformed but have managed to hide their disfigurement.

Fringe fans, get your thinking caps on - we’ve got two copies of the brand new book, Fringe, showcasing the six-issue comics mini series based on JJ Abrams’ show.

The comics were created by several of the writers from the show, including Mike Johnson and Zack Whedon (brother of Joss!), and they detail events in the years prior to Olivia Dunham becoming involved in Fringe science, as a young Doctor Walter Bishop and his fellow student, William Bell, embark on a course of experimentation that will lead them to unleashing powers beyond their wildest dreams, and a gateway into the unknown.
