ABC have been running teaser trailers for some of their new shows and their returning dramas, including Courtney Cox’s new vehicle Cougartown (more of that anon), Grey’s Anatomy and, of course, Lost… So when we saw THIS trailer, we thought they were giving us a sneaky heads-up on season six of Lost.
How could they bring Charlie back? Would he be a ghost in Hurley’s head? Or were the gang going to have time-travelled to a bygone era before the munchkin rocker was consigned to a watery grave?
What we have now learned is that we really need to calm down with our fevered speculations! Word on the street is Monaghan is going to be joining the cast of another ABC show as a series regular.
Oh dear, pass the paracetamol - I can feel some more feverish guesswork coming on… What show will it be?
The second reason we can’t wait for Chuck to return to UK screens is the fantastic 3D episode, Chuck vs the Third Dimension. Not only is it fantastically 3D, it also features a guest appearance by Dominic Monaghan (Charlie off Lost) as a British rock star with a rather exceptional British accent. Talk about typecasting.
Anyhow, this week Give Me My Remote are hassling NBC to grant Chuck a third season so enjoy these previews below and then head over there to support this noble cause! Be warned, the 3D in the second clip can induce migraines!
We were relieved to see Dominic Monaghan’s post-Lost career hasn’t gone completely down the drain just yet. You might want to stop playing rubbish rock stars though, Dom.
We were very pleased to hear that SCI FI is the latest channel to see the light and launch an HD service, and we managed to persuade them to give us some Eli Stone goodies for a competition to celebrate! If you haven’t entered yet, hurry up!
Well, apart from a rather unconvincing English accent from English actor Dominic Monaghan, you get exactly what it says on the tin – Charlie from Lost appearing in spy caper Chuck. Dominic, who’s clearly been to the Jane Leeves school of accents, guest stars as a British rock star using the BuyMore for a live promo. Naturally, life-threatening spy hijinks are, indeed, ahoy. Here’s a sneak preview…
