Cold Case - It’s back!

When’s it back? Sky1, Thursday 2 October

Hurrah! Detective Lilly Rush (Kathryn Morris) and the rest of the Cold Case team are on their way back for sixth series of the Philadelphia-set procedural crime drama.

This season will see the Cold Case team looking at cases committed at the time of the Korean War in the 1950s and the first Apollo moon landing of 1969. As before, be amazed by the way all the suspects and witnesses have first-rate recall of events that took place 40-odd years ago, and watch aghast as you ask yourself ‘Why the hell didn’t the original investigating team think of that in the first place, the fools?’

But, hey, that would be nitpicking. I love the show and the wounded soul that is Lilly who is the very heart of it, and can’t wait for the new series to start next month. In the meantime, get geared up for the new series by watching MadTV’s hilarious spoof…
