Competition time | Win the latest chapter in the Supernatural series of novels

If you just can’t get enough of those Supernatural Winchester boys, Sam and Dean, you’ll be pleased to hear we’ve got a competition just for you!

Hardcore fans will have heard of the companion series of books by award-winning sci-fi and fantasy writer Keith R A DeCandido, chronicling the adventures of the brothers in their fight against evil. Now, Keith has released a brand new book, called Supernatural: Heart of the Dragon.

In the book, renegade angel Castiel alerts Sam and Dean to a series of particularly brutal killings in San Francisco’s Chinatown, and they realise that the Heart of the Dragon is back. Their father, John Winchester, faced the terrifying spirit 20 years ago, and the Campbell family fought it 40 years ago – can the boys succeed where their predecessors failed?

The book Supernatural: Heart of the Dragon goes on sale on Friday 26 February, but we’ve got three copies to give away, courtesy of the always generous folk at Titan Books.

It’s competition time again, Supernatural fans!

Series four of Supernatural, which is currently airing on Sundays on ITV2, has seen the Winchester brothers take the wildest ride of their lives in their battle against the forces of darkness.

After being released from Hell with no recollection of his time there or how he was freed, Dean is reunited with his brother Sam. But all is not the same, and it becomes apparent Sam is hiding secrets from Dean.

In search of answers, the brothers hit the road in their trusty Impala to battle a legion of new supernatural forces including malevolent spirits, a living teddy bear, and Dracula himself.

Christmas greetings from the Supernatural crew

Series four of Supernatural is due to spirit itself back onto ITV2 in late January 2009, but it’s already well underway in America, and the show’s editing team have been kind enough to put together a little Christmas treat for fans, featuring preview clips from episodes 11, 12 and 13.

We’ll be bringing you a proper series four preview in January, but we couldn’t resist the chance to let you see Jensen Ackles showing off his knobbly knees - this from the character who once declared ‘Sweetheart, I don’t do shorts!’
