The episode not only features the highly anticipated return of George Clooney and Julianna Margulies as Doug Ross and Carol Hathaway, but also features Eric LaSalle as Dr Benton, Noah Wyle as Carter (though he’s been in a few episodes by this point) and guest star Susan Sarandon!

 Monk to end!

1. The next obsessive, compulsive season of Monk will be its last.

2. Pamela Anderson is to guest star as herself in the US version of Kath & Kim.

3. Former 24 star Reiko Aylesworth will be involved in multiple romances in Lost.

5. One former County nurse who won’t be returning in ER’s finale series is Julianna Margulies’s grumpy-pants Carol Hathaway.

6. Alec Baldwin’s face has appeared on toilet paper in the Netherlands to promote 30 Rock.

The 15th and final series of ER starts in the US in September. Channel 4 will be showing it at some point, but possibly not, we hear, until 2009!

2) The next – and most likely last – series of ER will feature four new characters.

3) The upcoming Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica may now be turned into a full-blown series.

4) William Hurt will star in the next series of Damages.

5) America is getting its own version of Top Gear.
