It’s the day of the yearbook photographs and Will hears from Sue that the Glee Club won’t be in it as their photograph always gets vandalized. Will confronts Figgins, who says that the $300 photography fee will have to be paid for by the club, meaning, Will. When the kids get a booking to appear in a TV commerical, Sue stirs things up by announcing that Mr Shue’s group should be disqualified as they can no longer claim amateur status. Emma and Ken book their wedding the day of Sectionals, and Will finally wises up to Teri’s pregnancy lie.

The intriguing US drama about a mass global blackout in which people saw a glimpse of their future returns from a mid-season break, with FBI investigator Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) suspended from duty and ordered to see a psychiatrist. Meanwhile, his colleague Demetri searches for the kidnapped physicist Lloyd.

Tyler and Boone rush to deal with the aftermath of an explosion at a Chinese restaurant. It turns out the place is a front for prostitution. Meanwhile, Nancy’s medical expertise is put to the test when she has to perform emergency surgery, and Rabbit has a bad reaction in a helicopter.

10pm, NCIS: Los Angeles, Sky 1 & HD
When a Petty Officer in the linguistics unit is murdered in a strip club, the team are on the case to find out if it’s a coincidence or a breach. What they turn up involves terrorism, infidelity and trafficking, and a link to Sam’s past. Hetty takes a closer look at the team to see how they’re handling the stress of the job.

Michael holds a dinner party and invites Jim and Pam, who have run out of excuses not to go. Dwight gets jealous when he realises Angela and Andy are also invited.

Dundler Mifflin are making a commercial and Michael seizes the opportunity to get the Scranton branch involved. Dwight escapes office boredom by submerging himself in a virtual reality website and Jim creates an Avatar to annoy him there as well. Later, in a bar, Jim shows Michael’s failed attempt at a company ad, but Pam’s animation gets the thumbs up!

Sue asks Will to see the setlist for Sectionals. His suspicions are raised and he thinks she may be leaking it to other competing schools. Will makes some enquiries of his own, and invites Grace (rapper Eve, above) and her reform school girls to visit McKinley High for a rehearsal. They do a rendition of Bootylicious complete with big-hair, which Rachel thinks is a gimmicky distraction from their poor singing. Meanwhile, Rachel and Kurt get jealous over Finn, and Quinn tells Teri she’s keeping her baby.

Marisa attends to a victim of a car accident while out on her morning jog, then helps an injured skateboarder. The paramedics move in when a car crashes into a family’s house, and a disgruntled employer goes on a shooting rampage in an office building, with Boone’s wife trapped inside.

Will gets the Glee clubbers to pair-up to sing ballads. When Rachel chooses Will, and sings Endless Love to him, he soon realises she’s developed a crush on him – and she’s not the only one. Cue Will singing the Police number Don’t Stand So Close To Me. Meanwhile, Finn finds support in Kurt, and Puck tells Mercedes that he’s the real father of Quinn’s baby.

There’s never a dull moment in the life of the San Francisco paramedics. When a driver suffers a stroke and drives into a street fair, the team are thrown into turmoil over who to get to hospital first. Partners Rabbit and Marisa clash over a patient’s treatment, and Boone’s marriage is on the rocks.

Michael hopes to go New York to attend the launch party for the company’s new website. Angela sets up a committee to plan a satellite party in Scranton, and Dwight tries to sell the most paper in a day to beat the website.

NEW SERIES Steve Carell returns as Dunder Mifflin’s inept boss Michael Scott as the US comedy is back for a fourth series. We’re quite far behind the US on this one, but ITV4 are giving it double bills on Mondays and Wednesdays, so maybe we’re going to catch up sooner rather than later! Tonight, Michael gets the team out on a fun run in aid of rabies victims and Pam and Jim bring a little romance to the office.

There’s competition between Rachel and Kurt to sing Defying Gravity. Principal Figgins suggests a ‘Diva-off’ for the solo. Quinn’s maternity bills are rising and she asks Finn for money, threatening to break up with him if he can’t pay. The club holds a cake sale to raise money for a bus to transport Artie’s wheelchair and the team to Sectionals, and Will’s suspicions are raised when Sue makes a charitable gesture.

NEW SERIES A new adrenaline-fuelled US medical drama follows the lives and loves of seven paramedics in San Francisco. We think it’s like a fusion of ER and The A Team! The pilot episode sees the team race to a motorway pile-up, where a fuel tanker causes an inferno.

Quinn and Rachel feel like social outcasts. There’s friction in the football team as Finn’s teammates are questioning his leadership and Puck skips training to work with Rachel on something for Glee. The next day Puck wows the club with his rendition of Sweet Caroline and Finn gets jealous when he realises Puck’s singing it to Rachel. Meanwhile, Emma and Ken make weding plans and ask Will to give them dancing lessons. Catch a glimpse of the episode, here…

SERIES FINALE Kevin plans to surprise Jackie with a new diamond ring. O’Hara asks Jackie to help admit her elderly mother who is being flown in from London. And after spending a day drinking at Kevin’s bar, Eddie makes a scene, threatening to tell all.

Song gems this week include the team singing Avril Lavigne’s Keep Holding On and Quinn’s version of The Supremes You Keep Me Hangin’ On. Sue is made co-director of New Arrivals and plans to cause friction by dividing the group. Will announces to Terri that he’ll come with her to her next anti-natal appointment (how is she going to get round that one) and Quinn finds an ally in Rachel when baby rumours start spreading around the school.

A pill-dispensing machine is introduced at the pharmacy, replacing Eddie. How will Jackie feed her addiction now? There’s a nasty case of a spider in a patient’s ear and a film critic, played by Victor Garber, ends up in a coma when Zoey miscalculates his drug dosage.

8pm, Legend of the Seeker, Sci-Fi
The fantasy drama, loosely based on Terry Goodkind’s The Sword of the Truth novels is back for a second series. Richard, Kahlan and Zedd’s celebration of their triumph over Darken Rahl is cut short by an attack from a rogue creature from the underworld, and the witch Shota reveals a shocking prophecy about the Seeker. Continues nightly until Thursday, with the first four episodes repeated on Friday from 8pm.

Catch covers of Bon Jovi’s It’s My Life, Beyonce Knowles’ Halo and Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves. To spice things up Will instils some healthy competition between the boys and the girls in a sing-off, with the winners getting to chose the song for the Sectionals. Meanwhile, Quinn makes a decision about the baby. Terri takes on the job of school nurse after scheming Sue Sylvester tells her to keep an eye on Emma and Will.

In this episode entitled Ring Finger, Jackie gets O’Hara to cut off her wedding band so Eddie doesn’t realise she’s married. Doh! Does she think he’d really care anyway? Doctor Cooper is still having embarrassing moments – he just can’t stop himself from touching women’s breasts. Is this a real medical condition or just an excuse? And catch another more cringe-worthy moment when Zoey walks in on Eddie and Jackie.

Calling all Gleeks. This week you’re in for a treat with covers of Liza Minnelli’s Maybe This Time and Queen’s Somebody to Love. Will enlists the help of his old school crush and one-time Glee club star April Rhodes, who never graduated and, therefore, is still eligible to join Glee. April (Pushing Daisies’ Kristin Chenoweth), however, is not the best influence on Will’s troupe. The club needs Rachel, but Will Finn be able to charm her into returning before New Directions performs at the Invitationals?

10pm, The Good Wife, Channel 4
Another chance to see episode two of the new drama; Alicia finds incriminating pictures of her jailed husband and has mixed feelings about allowing her children to visit him in prison. She represents a stripper who was raped at a stag party and who may also have been a victim of domestic violence. The next episode can be seen on More4 on Thursday at 9pm.

Jackie’s drug abuse begins to take its toll, and she comes to blows with Dr Cooper over a potential organ donor. Meanwhile, the parents of the abandoned baby in Mrs Akalitus’s care turn up at the hospital.

LAST ONE In an explosive series finale, Michael captures the rogue agent who was responsible for the bombing, and the two join forces to take on Carla and her boss. Our superspy hero also learns some facts about Victor.

NEW SERIES It’s long overdue, but Julianna Margulies finally returns to our screens, starring as the lawyer wife of a shamed politician, played by Chris Noth (Sex and The City’s Mr Big) who’s forced to return to work after he’s imprisoned. It’s a slick, well-written piece of television, and after tonight the first showing switches to Thursdays on More4.

10pm, Nurse Jackie, BBC2
Mrs Akalitus reveals a hidden soft side when she’s left holding an abandoned baby. Meanwhile, Cooper overhears Jackie on the phone and discovers she has a daughter. Will he keep the information to himself? Will he buffalo! That boy should be on Gossip Girl.

Michael has to put his vendetta to one side when his ex fiancée shows up looking for her old Coldplay CD. No, hang on, that’s a different episode. She’s got a bigger problem on her hands this time - someone has kidnapped her son and is trying to force her to steal a tracking chip before they’ll return the boy…

What did Santa put in your stocking this Christmas? If you hoped for a copy of the new Wii game Where the Wild Things Are but were left with some novelty slippers instead, then perhaps we can make a belated wish come true.

Warner Bros have kindly given us five Where the Wild Things Are games for Wii to give away, (rrp £34.99), based on the charming children’s classic by Maurice Sendak, the Hollywood movie follows the adventures of a disobedient little boy called Max, who was sent to his room without any supper. In his imagination he is banished to another world, inhabited by mysterious wild creatures which crown Max king.

The videogame formats on Wii, DS, PS3 and Xbox feature the mischievous Max travelling through the land of the Wild Things, which is on the brink of destruction. Play Rule the Island and become king of all Wild Things as you find a way to safety before it is too late. Frolic among the island’s flora and fauna and acquire power-ups. Discover the undiscovered as you fly, jump, glide and swing through the island’s dangerous terrain, battling enemy creatures with your trusty sceptre.
