Not long now until 90210 bulldozes its way onto US telly boxes and, at last, a trailer featuring actual footage from the retooled show has been YouTubed.
First impressions suggest Ninety Twenty-One Zero – as virtually no one is calling it, yet – is heavily OC-inspired with poolside confessions, improbably cool parties and lots of jocks having punch-ups.
However, we’re a little disappointed not to catch sight of Kelly, Donna or Brenda in this snippet. Can 90210 set itself apart from the classy original, the comedy of Greek, the mining-town realism of Friday Night Lights or the high-melodrama of One Tree Hill? Time will tell, but these pics suggest things are looking suitably glamorous.
