Prepare to be spoiled. Slightly.

Not that you’ll need reminding, but the sixth and final - sob! - series of Lost starts on Sky1 on Friday 5 February.
Not caught up with the wonderful Glee yet? Well, more fool you, we say – but it’s not too late. Here, to bring you up to speed, are a series of the recaps of all the episodes that have been shown in the UK so far – right up to the fourth episode, shown on E4 last Monday and repeated on Channel 4 on Sunday. Hey, don’t say we don’t do anything for you…
The Pilot Episode
Episode 2: Showmance
Episode 3: Acafellas
Episode 4: Preggers
You’ll be needing this handy map, as lovingly created by fellow Lost daftie John Cabrera. We would have put it up earlier, but to be honest we’ve just been too busy enjoying it ourselves!
You can check out the original, highly detailed interactive version on John’s website, where you can zoom in and out to your heart’s content and plan daytrips taking in scenic highlights such as Naomi in a tree, Jacob’s Cabin and that unforgettable spot where Walt sailed off into the unknown.
Absolute genius! Thanks John!
It seems Deadwood star Timothy Olyphant just can’t get enough of that old-fashioned style of gun-toting justice. He’ll be appearing in brand new US drama Justified as Raylan Given, a US Marshal who doesn’t seem to hold much sway with modern law methods - not when he can just shoot criminals instead!
The show is based on a character from an Elmore Leonard story. It was originally going to be called Lawman, but Steven Seagal beat them to that title, so the equally aptly named Justified will air on the US version of FX in March. If we’re lucky, someone over here will pick it up soon… See what you think.
We have no idea when Smallville: Absolute Justice, a two-hour superhero special, will air here in the UK, but the feature-length all-action spectacular will be on in the US at the beginning of February, so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long. We can still get excited thinking about it though, eh?
It’s only a matter of weeks now until the excellent Damages returns to our screens here in the UK, with Glenn Close as Patty Hewes, the most cut-throat lawyer ever, and her sort-of protégé, Ellen Parsons, played by Rose Byrne.
Season three has just started in the US, and it’s already shaping up to be a cracker. Tate Donovan will be back as Patty’s dubious sidekick, Tom Shaye, and the big celebrity guest stars are Lily Tomlin, Martin Short and Campbell Scott as the defendants badly in need of defending after Patty goes after them.
Here’s the trailer for season three; and also a fabulous video rounding up all you need to know from seasons one and two, in case you missed any of them!
8pm, Modern Family, Sky1
Phil lets Luke take the blame when Claire finds a pornographic picture on their computer, Gloria has an understandably strong reaction to Jay’s latest love - a life-sized dog butler statue, and Mitchell is annoyed by Cameron when he becomes more interested in the new Hispanic gardener’s troubles than his own.
9pm, The Good Wife, More4
After its debut on Monday on Channel 4, The Good Wife’s first-see episode moves to Thursdays on More4, with repeats on C4 on Monday. Julianna Margulies’s resolve holds fast as steely but compassionate lawyer Alicia as she takes on the case of a prostitute crying rape - even though the woman may have had a dalliance with wayward husband Peter.
10pm, Brothers & Sisters, More4
Kitty plucks up the courage to tell the whole clan about her condition, but it leaks out in the usual Walker fashion, and it’s not long before Nora and Robert are at loggerheads over the best course of action. Elsewhere, Saul bumps into an old business acquaintance who seems set on causing trouble for Ojai.
10pm, Grey’s Anatomy, Living
The docs try to cope with their grief over George in different ways. Callie has taken up her new position at Mercy West, where she ends up treating a most unexpected patient; Alex becomes emotionally distant from Izzie; Cristina and Owen undergo tough-love couple therapy; and the Chief has some shocking news for everyone.
Glee – Jane Lynch will be performing Vogue in the Madonna-themed episode.
La Femme Nikita – A remake of the action series is in the works, courtesy of McG.
Ron Howard – The Arrested Development narrator (amongst other things) is helming a new sitcom.
Ugly Betty – Has been axed! But we’ll get 20-episodes in the fourth series. Please can someone give Wilhelmina her own show now?
