9.00, Reaper E4
No new episode this week - instead E4 are showing a Halloween episode from earlier in the run (complete with requisite costumes) in which a depressed Devil cheers himself up by giving Sam the Herculean task of rounding up not one but two murderous souls.
9.00, Sex and the City, Fiver
After all the hype, the big-screen film will be released in May, so Fiver are getting in the mood by showing every series of the drama right from the very first episode, first screened in 1998. Enjoy!
10.00, The Big Bang Theory, E4
Sheldon’s position at the top of the class is threatened when a young North Korean refugee arrives at the university and starts to upstage him in the lab. Full marks to anyone who catches all the references to other shows and films - the writers are in fine form.

9.00, CSI Five
Wu-Tang Clan rapper Method Man continues his transition into the world of acting with a guest appearance as an incarcerated nightclub owner who agrees to co-operate with the CSIs in return for a temporary reprieve from jail - and then gives them a right headache when he escapes from custody and goes on the run.
9.00, Bionic Woman, ITV2
SERIES FINALE This episode won’t feel much like a finale - there were supposed to be another five episodes, but the writers’ strike put everything on hold, and then the network cancelled the show. Michelle will be back on your screens soon in Mr Eleven, a two-part British comedy, starring alongside fellow EastEnder turned Hollywooder Sean Maguire.
10.00, Dirty Sexy Money, E4
Karen’s wedding day dawns, but unsurprisingly it’s not a hitch-free affair. The rest of the Darling clan struggle with their own problems, as Brian Jr’s mum shows up (yes that is Twin Peaks star Sheryl Lee!) and Patrick turns his back on his father - leading to a marvellous performance by Donald Sutherland as an extremely inebriated Tripp.

8.00, Flash Gordon Sci-Fi
The series becomes positively soap-opera-esque as Aura tries to escape a political marriage arranged by Ming by drugging Flash with a love potion, bringing out the green-eyed monster in Dale. It’s a whole new genre - sci-fi for OC fans.
9.00, Dirt, Fiver
Five Life gets a new identity today, just in time to welcome the return of Courteney Cox’s tabloid drama. The show’s got a new theme tune and a new reporter, but the characters hitting Dirt’s headlines are still thinly disguised versions of troubled real-life celebs, and being stabbed has done nothing to reform Lucy’s bitchy behaviour.
10.00, Numb3rs, Living
Charlie and the team get their calculators out to figure out where a gang of cop killers will strike next, while Don has to face up to some of his demons when he’s sent to see the department psychiatrist (guest star Kathy Najimy).

Friday, 9.00, Criminal Minds, Living
The team seem to be coping admirably without Gideon as they investigate a bizarre spate of murders of random families, although it brings back tough memories for Hotchner.
Saturday, 9.45, CSI: NY Five
A fire at Stella’s building leads to an arson investigation, and an even more intriguing case related to a missing child.
Saturday, 11.00, Law & Order, Sky One
Borgia and McCoy face an uphill battle trying to convict a seemingly perfect mother who took radical action when she feared her son was becoming a psychopath.
Sunday, 10.00, Desperate Housewives, E4
It’s Halloween, and the horrors stack up as Carlos leaves Edie, Susan finds Mike’s supposedly dead father, Lynette takes to the back garden with a shotgun, and Danielle goes into labour right in the middle of a fancy dress party.
Sunday, 11.00, Brothers & Sisters, E4
Sarah finds out she may lose custody of her children, while Kitty discovers she may be about to start a family of her own - not necessarily good news for Robert’s presidential campaign.

9.00 & 10.30, Heroes, BBC2 & BBC3
NEW SERIES It feels like an absolute age since Heroes was on, but finally we get to find out what happened after Peter went all nuclear after the Sylar showdown. This series has had a lot of flack from critics who think it lost its oomph after a cracking first run, but it’s still well worth the watch, especially with the introduction of several new heroes.
9.00, Bones Sky One
Our magazine says tonight’s episode is the one with a baby in it, but we’ve just found out Sky have changed their running order. Good old Sky! I suppose we should be thankful they haven’t dropped it at short notice again… Anyway, the highlight of tonight’s show is Bones and Booth going on a sort of double-date with Sweets and his girlfriend, complete with a string of marvellous one-liners. B&B in top form.
10.00, Boston Legal, Living
Series creator David E Kelley wades in as co-writer for an episode tackling an extremely controversial issue, as a man sues Ivan’s flakey ex-wife Melissa for using his sperm to have a child without his consent. Of course there are moments of humour, including Melissa’s frequent references to Xanadu, inspired by her musical therapy, but overall it’s a thought-provoking episode.

9.00, Reaper, E4
Sam discovers his devilish role could spell trouble for his nearest and dearest when his latest demon conquest targets Andi. Trivia fiends might like to know that Sock’s line about Kendell, ‘I know a brother when I see one!’ is particularly poignant - the actors are real-life siblings Tyler and Kyle Labine.
10.00, The Big Bang Theory Sky One
Geeky Sheldon gets sick and all his friends, well acquainted with his impatient behaviour as a patient, steer clear, leaving an unsuspecting Penny to nurse him back to health.
10.00, The Kill Point, E4
SERIES FINALE The heist-gone-wrong series draws to an violent end, as Horst’s plan to get the hostages out leads to the inevitable thousand-bullet shoot-out that’s been on the cards since day one.
