Don’t worry, this show is sooooo not High School Musical. The pilot episode of Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy’s latest series, Glee, arrives in mid-December on E4. The rest of season one will follow sometime in the New Year.  The series centres on High School spanish teacher Will Schuester’s (played by Matthew Morrison) efforts to return the school’s glee club (a show-tunes inging group) to its former glory. Considering that none of the cool kids want any part of it, Schuester’s got his work cut to increase the club’s appeal. The fantastic Jessalyn Gilsig (Gina in Nip/Tuck) plays Schuester’s scheming wife, while Ugly Betty star Jayma Mays is a colleague holding a crush. However, the star of the show is clearly Jane Lynch who plays the head coach of the cheerleading squad. Check this out too.
