And in other Doctor Who goss, Tom Ellis (who played Doctor Oliver in EastEnders) is apparently the frontrunner to be the next Time Lord, though we can’t see it ourselves. Former Casualty nurse Paterson Joseph (who also plays Johnson in Peep Show) seems more likely after David Tennant’s comments on BBC Breakfast that the next Doctor could be someone very different to any previous incarnation.
